A person wearing a restrained jewellery object

Care · Material before ritual

Made to be worn.
Cared for to last.

Stone, cord and metal age differently. Know the object before caring for it.

Read the care record

Daily record · Four rules

Most wear can be
prevented early.

01

Last on.

Put the piece on after perfume, lotion, sunscreen and makeup.

02

First off.

Remove it before showering, swimming, washing, sleep or gym use.

03

Wipe dry.

Use a soft dry cloth after wear. Do not let residue build on stone or metal.

04

Store alone.

Keep each object separate, cool, dry and away from direct sun.

Care by construction

The weakest part
sets the rule.

A hard stone does not make its cord, clasp or setting waterproof.

Elastic cord

Keep away from water, perfume, lotion, chemicals and gym use. Do not stretch the strand over the hand more than necessary.

SAKULUX® jewellery wire

This is nylon-coated stainless-steel wire—not silk or elastic. Open the clasp to put on and remove the piece. Avoid sharp bends, crushing and pulling at the bead holes or end fittings. Keep it dry and store it away from direct sun, strong UV and high humidity.

Magnetic clasp

Open the piece by holding the two metal halves of the clasp—never by pulling the wire. Keep the clasp dry and away from hard impacts or high heat.

Cleaning

Wipe the assembled strand with a soft dry cloth. For residue, use a barely damp cloth on the stone only and dry immediately.

Inspection

Check monthly for fraying, stretching, chips and clasp movement. Request service before the strand fails.

Quartz & garnet

The stones tolerate regular wear, but the finished object's cord and metal still set the stricter rule. Avoid soaking the assembled piece.

Porous or hydrated stone

Opal, turquoise, lapis, pearl and similar materials need a damp-cloth method and no soaking, heat or ultrasonic cleaning.

Light-sensitive colour

Keep amethyst, rose quartz, citrine and other light-sensitive stones away from long direct-sun exposure.

If the material is unclear, use the Stone Card or Lot ID and ask BE. before using liquid, steam or ultrasonic cleaning.

Silver & vermeil

Avoid chlorine, perfume, lotion and abrasive polish. Wipe after wear and keep dry to slow tarnish and surface loss.

Magnetic clasp & setting

Hold the two metal spheres to open and close the clasp—never pull the wire, jump rings or setting. Keep the closure dry and away from hard impacts or high heat.

Commercial cleaner

Do not assume a cleaner made for diamond or metal is safe for the stone, coating, adhesive or cord in the same object.

Separate pieces

One object per pouch or compartment. Hard stones can scratch softer stones and polished metal through contact.

Cool, dry, dark

Avoid a window sill, bathroom, radiator, car dashboard and other places with direct sun, moisture or temperature swings.

Use the BE. box

Return the piece to its BE. box when it is not worn, with enough space that the strand is not compressed.

A small routine

Care is a record
made over time.

After wear

Wipe and return.

Remove skin oil and surface residue with a soft dry cloth, then store the piece separately.

Each month

Inspect the structure.

Look for cord stretch, fraying, loose fittings, chips, tarnish or changed closure resistance.

When something changes

Stop before failure.

Do not wait for a strand to break. Contact BE. with your order number and Lot ID so the object can be assessed.

Care after purchase

The record continues
after delivery.

BE. pieces are covered against defects in craft and materials for 24 months from delivery. Service requests should include the order number and Lot ID.
