Hematoid quartz is quartz holding hematite — iron oxide — sealed inside the crystal. Its warm red is intensity given structure: the quartz doesn't put the fire out, it gives it direction. Read through the quartz body, the iron-red carries depth rather than surface shine — warmer and more mineral than garnet, with more internal movement.

Red hematoid quartz is quartz carrying hematite, Fe2O3, inside the host crystal. The red is an inclusion record, not a finish. It should read as iron oxide held by silica rather than colour placed after polishing.
This lot was selected for iron-oxide saturation across the full strand: visible red presence, controlled sequence, and no muddy or visually dead beads. The standard is saturation with control. The colour needed strength without collapse.

Natural stone changes with light, angle, and screen settings. Product photos are edited for clarity, but the material may read deeper, softer, or more muted in daily light.
Email us within 14 days of receiving your order to start a return. The piece must be unworn, undamaged, and in its original packaging. Return shipping is the buyer's responsibility. Once we receive, inspect, and approve the return, your refund is processed to the original payment method within 5–10 business days.
Allow 3–7 business days for studio preparation. United States delivery takes 6–12 calendar days after dispatch, with an estimated total of 7–15 business days from order to arrival. Bought this as a gift for my brother. The bracelet is fantastic - dark, intense, exactly what he'd like. But I had to wrap it myself since there's no gift-wrap option at checkout. The box and info cards about the stone are nice touches, but an option for wrapping paper would be appreciated. He loved it though.

The intensity of the red-rust colour drew me in. Each bead tells its own story - some are nearly opaque with iron oxide, others have clear windows where you can see into the quartz. It's like a little landscape on each one. Gorgeous.
Love the look - the dark iron oxide colour is masculine and bold. Felt a bit snug when I first put it on but it loosened up after a few days of wear. Now it's comfortable. Four stars because of that initial tightness but the bracelet itself is exceptional.
