Obsidian records lava cooling too quickly for crystal order, while hematoid quartz records silica growing around hematite until iron oxide is sealed inside. One material is stopped glass; the other is contained iron. The contrast is geological, not decorative.
This lot was selected for a continuous black field with two clear iron points. The standard is red presence held by a precise perimeter. The obsidian needed restraint; the hematoid beads needed iron visibility without making the sequence loud.
This is Anchor because both materials understand containment differently. Obsidian sets the field; hematoid quartz gives the field a pulse of iron. The red is strong, but it becomes stronger because the dark perimeter knows where to hold it.

This piece uses natural, untreated stone. No heat, dye, coating or artificial irradiation is applied. Its lot details are recorded on the Stone Origin Record supplied with the piece.
Natural stone changes with light, angle, and screen settings. Product photos are edited for clarity, but the material may read deeper, softer, or more muted in daily light.
Email us within 14 days of receiving your order to start a return. The piece must be unworn, undamaged, and in its original packaging. Return shipping is the buyer's responsibility. Once we receive, inspect, and approve the return, your refund is processed to the original payment method within 5–10 business days.
Allow 3–7 business days for studio preparation. United States delivery takes 6–12 calendar days after dispatch, with an estimated total of 7–15 business days from order to arrival. I worried a two-tone stone bracelet might look a bit craft-market. It doesn't. The colours are natural and muted enough to look grown-up. The obsidian is deep black - not grey, not brownish - and the hematoid is like dried clay. Together they just work. I've worn it with jeans and with suits and both times it fit right in.
The hematoid is the reason I chose this over the plain obsidian, so I was hoping for maybe a 50/50 split. It's more like the obsidian dominates and the hematoid accents. Still looks good, and the contrast is there, but for me personally I wanted more of that warm brown. Not a deal-breaker, just a preference.
Beach, pool, hiking, restaurants - didn't take it off once. No fading, no loosening, no discolouration. The hematoid beads still look the same as day one. This thing is built to last. Already thinking about which one to get next.

I avoided crystal bracelets for years because they all looked a bit... new age. This one doesn't give that vibe at all. It looks like a modern piece of jewellery that happens to be made of stone. The dark palette and the weight of it help. I've been wearing it to client meetings and nobody questions it.

Coming from someone who calls all my accessories "rocks on string", that's high praise. He liked the colour contrast especially. The hematoid beads have this warm, matte-ish finish next to the shiny obsidian and it just looks considered. I wore it out to dinner and it went perfectly with a burgundy dress.
I expected a softer contrast piece when I ordered this. What arrived was more exact than that. The dark hemispheres and the two iron-toned interruptions feel highly controlled, almost like a diagram translated into beads. After wearing it, I understood the appeal. It works especially well with black, brown, rust, and heavier outerwear because the symmetry gives it authority without becoming loud.
