- Grading: every stone is assessed in-studio against the BE. Crystal 4T standard (Transparency, Tone, Texture, Treasure) before production — method.
- How BE. selects and documents: roughly the top 20% of inspected material passes into production. Each accepted lot is then graded in-studio on Transparency, Tone, Texture and Treasure, and placed in one of three tiers — Studio, Signature or Heritage. Treatment and origin are stated at the level the lot evidence supports, and travel with the piece on its Stone Origin Record.
