Materials and construction

Bolivian amethyst spheres selected for deep violet tone, internal color integrity, and full-strand consistency. Hand-strung to order with a stainless steel wire core, finished with a one-hand magnetic clasp. Single-mineral strand. Construction upgraded in the second half of 2026: current lots are strung on steel wire with a magnetic clasp; lots shipped before this change used elastic cord.

Studio notes

Amethyst forms when trace iron enters quartz and later geological irradiation changes how the lattice absorbs light. The violet belongs inside the crystal. It is not a finish added after cutting, but a record held by the quartz body.

This 10mm lot was selected for deep-end Bolivian violet: interior weight, consistent saturation, and enough bead volume for the colour to feel held rather than flat. The standard is depth with continuity. Every sphere needed to carry the same quiet weight.

This is Void because amethyst keeps its most important change inside the crystal. At 10mm, the violet does not need to be louder; it needs to feel held. The stone shows depth as interior volume, not as performance.
