Hematoid quartz is quartz holding hematite — iron oxide — sealed inside the crystal. Its warm red is intensity given structure: the quartz doesn't put the fire out, it gives it direction. Read through the quartz body, the iron-red carries depth rather than surface shine — warmer and more mineral than garnet, with more internal movement.

Red hematoid quartz is quartz carrying hematite, Fe2O3, inside the host crystal. The red is an inclusion record, not a finish. It should read as iron oxide held by silica rather than colour placed after polishing.
This Heritage lot was selected for iron-oxide saturation across the full strand: visible red presence, controlled sequence, and no muddy or visually dead beads. The standard is saturation with control. The colour needed strength without collapse.
